Boutique Community Management
What is boutique community management?
Boutique management provides specialized services tailored to a community’s specific needs. Many management companies provide basic services and charge extra for any specialized projects needed by a Board on behalf of their community. Candor seeks to close any gaps between projects needed and projects provided in a basic scope of management.
Boutique management provides more time and attention to details from a long term financial perspective to the management of monthly expenses. No community can maintain their physical assets without first managing their funds. Without advance preparations of the budget, basic expenses are missed and a community will run over budget. And without long-term financial planning, a community risks short term special assessments to cover major projects.
Candor is aptly named for the value we place on honesty, integrity, and clarity. We speak candidly with Boards and homeowners to develop trust and build relationships while we get the work done. We believe in the value of communication and follow through with our commitments.
Who We Are
Growing up in Colorado, I’ve always loved being in the mountains. I found a way to move to Summit County, Colorado permanently in 2014 and have worked in property management since then.
Working as a community manager has not only become a good career choice, it has become a way to connect with Silverthorne and the surrounding community. By creating relationships with homeowners, both local and out of state, and contractors in the area, I’ve grown more in love with this county and the mountains we call “home”.
My background in boutique hospitality has given me the goal of starting a boutique property management company. A management style that goes above and beyond the standard property management format. As a board member myself, I know what support homeowners and board members need. But as a community manager, I’ve developed tools that will support communities for years to come.
What sets us apart isn’t just our process—it’s the heart and intentionality behind our work. It’s the goal of creating “wows” with every meeting, every phone call, every email.

The Candor Compass-
Candor is the quality of being honest and sincere in speech or expression. To speak candidly is to say what you mean with clarity and integrity. Speaking candidly requires courage and humility.
-
Team members are all equally important. Sharing information, building each other up, and supporting each other creates an environment of efficiency and productivity.
-
When we see with new perspectives, we become more patient and kind, assuming the best of others. We ask empathy of others, we also give empathy to others. Empathy creates connection.
-
We think with the future in mind. We do today what the “tomorrow us” will thank us for. Systems and communications anticipate future needs and issues. Decisions today are made to give room for tomorrow.
